At SkillBridge Academy, the route is designed to be simple and completed in one day.
Learners complete the required health and safety training, take the GQA Health and Safety Test, and can then move forward with the Green CSCS Labourer Card application route.
Learners complete recognised construction health and safety training covering the essential knowledge needed to work safely on site.
This includes key areas such as construction site hazards, safe working practices, PPE, emergency procedures, site rules and individual responsibilities.
As part of the same route, learners also complete the GQA Health and Safety Test, removing the need to book a separate CITB test at an external test centre.
Once the training and GQA Health and Safety Test have been completed successfully, learners can move forward with the Green CSCS Labourer Card route.
