What is this course?
Level 1 Health & Safety in construction is an introductory qualification that provides workers with a basic understanding of how to stay safe on a construction site. It covers fundamental topics such as identifying common workplace hazards, understanding risk assessments, using personal protective equipment (PPE), following site safety rules, and knowing what to do in emergencies. The course is designed for new or entry-level workers and helps ensure they understand their legal responsibilities, as well as their employer’s duties, in maintaining a safe working environment.

The Green CSCS Q-Card is for labourers working in construction, proving you have the required health and safety knowledge to work on-site. Recognised across the industry, it ensures you meet the minimum standard for safety awareness and employability.

Book a course with us
To begin your journey towards a Green CSCS card, fill out our registration form with your details, and our team will arrange a suitable course date and secure your place.
2.
Complete the course
Attend and complete the full course, which includes five short modular tests and a final Health & Safety test. Our trainers will support you throughout to ensure you are fully prepared and confident to pass.
3.
Get your Certificate and CSCS Card
Once you successfully pass, we will then process your application so you can receive your Green CSCS Card and H&S Certificate, allowing you to work safely on construction sites.
